Originally titled Nothing Lasts (although head remembers a rumor goin round it was titled All Used Up) it was changed after actress Tuesday Weld, the fox on the cover, objected. Easily, Matthew Sweet's best record and a Classic.
I saw Matthew play this record in its entirety a couple years ago. Amazing songs, amazing show. One of the most under appreciated artists in our modern world.
ReplyDeleteThere's a lot of Sweet available but this one was the first I heard of him, and it's the one I keep playing. Maybe not the best, but to be honest, I have no idea which is his best. I just love this album
